AUbit — return to the portal

Terms & Conditions

Updated 7 September 2026. You can save or print this page for reference.

1. About AUbit

These terms cover the audio processing service at aubit.studio. “We”, “us” and “AUbit” mean the business identified below. They apply to paid orders and free promotion-code orders.

Legal business name: Brain Audio Systems LTD
Trading name: AUbit
Business address: The Hanger, Tingeys Top Lane, Enfield, EN2 9BJ
Customer contact email: aubit.studio@proton.me
Company registration and VAT details, if applicable: 07463374 GB 105 2704 55

Orders and these terms are provided in English.

2. The processing service

AUbit applies fixed, automated audio processing to one stereo WAV at a time and provides a processed stereo WAV for download. Each file must be no longer than 10 minutes and no larger than 1 GB (1,000,000,000 bytes).

The output is a stereo 32-bit floating-point WAV. You will need software that supports this format. This service does not include a listening review by a mastering engineer, revisions or a guarantee of a particular loudness, sound or commercial outcome. Keep your original file and check the result before using it.

You can remove a selected file and choose another before uploading. After upload, processing is queued when payment is confirmed or a valid promotion code is redeemed. Completion time depends on the file and the processing queue; an immediate result is not guaranteed.

Automated security checks may reject NAM capture or training audio, synthetic measurement signals and unusually high-volume use before checkout or promotion-code redemption. A rejected security-check upload is not processed, charged or counted as a redeemed promotion.

3. Prices and paid orders

The portal shows the total charge in pounds sterling before you pay. That charge covers processing one accepted file and downloading its result during the download window. There is no subscription or recurring charge.

Paid checkout is handled by Revolut using the payment methods offered at checkout. Paying customers do not need a promotion code. A failed or cancelled payment does not authorise paid processing.

4. Free promotion codes

A valid promotion code provides one free file, including processing and download. Enter the complete code, including the AUBIT prefix, and press Apply before uploading. The page must show that the promotion is applied and the price is Free.

A code is redeemed when a valid upload is accepted for processing. It cannot be reused for another successfully processed file or exchanged for cash. An invalid upload does not use the code. If the processor fails, the code is made available to try again.

Once your free file is ready, downloading it does not require payment or another code.

5. Downloads and temporary files

Server-processed downloads are available for 24 hours after completion. Return using the same browser with its session cookie intact. Clearing browser data or changing browsers can prevent access to your file.

Download and keep your result promptly. AUbit is not a permanent storage or backup service. The original input and processed output may be retained together for up to 24 hours after completion to provide the download window and the private technical A/B checks described below. Both are then removed during scheduled cleanup. If the portal specifically says that a private test runs in your browser, download the result before closing that page.

If a completed download fails during its availability window, contact us with the filename, approximate processing time and any error message so we can investigate.

6. Your audio and permissions

You and the other relevant rights holders retain ownership of your uploaded audio and the processed result. Using AUbit does not transfer copyright in your music or recordings to us.

Only upload material that you own or have permission to submit for processing. You give AUbit limited permission to receive, temporarily store, process and return the file, and to carry out the system checks described below. Your copyright and the rights of other rights holders are upheld. We do not acquire ownership of your recording or of the processed result.

Private audio monitoring

Input and processed audio streams may be monitored privately by authorised AUbit personnel to check system operation, diagnose faults and assess processing quality. Checks may include A/B comparison of short sections of the original and processed audio during the temporary retention window. Access is restricted and listening sessions are logged.

This limited technical monitoring does not permit AUbit to publish, sell, share or use your recording in advertising, demonstrations or model training. Use of identifiable customer recordings in promotional material would require separate permission. Aggregate usage and performance statistics may inform how we improve and market the service; this does not transfer rights in customer audio.

If you need your audio excluded from listening checks, contact us before uploading. You can also raise an objection or a privacy request using the contact details above. The privacy notice explains the information collected, the purposes, retention periods and your rights.

Playback and equipment

Processing can change level, dynamics, distortion and peaks. The 32-bit float output can contain sample values above digital full scale; it is not a guaranteed peak-limited delivery master. Open it in compatible audio software, check and adjust levels, and begin playback with amplifier, speaker and headphone volume turned down. Keep your original recording and check the result before distribution or use with other equipment.

Excessive sound levels can damage hearing or equipment. Follow equipment guidance and use appropriate gain staging and, where necessary, limiting. We are not responsible for loss caused solely by your misuse or incompatible setup where the law permits that exclusion. This does not remove our responsibility for faulty processing, negligence or any remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Problems, cancellations and refunds

If paid processing fails, we will arrange a refund to the original payment method. Refund completion depends on the payment provider. If the result is faulty, does not match the description or cannot be downloaded while it should be available, contact us so we can put the problem right. Your legal rights to an appropriate remedy remain in place.

UK consumers normally have a 14-day cancellation period for an online service contract. These terms do not ask you to waive any applicable cancellation right. To request cancellation or report a problem, use the contact email or business address above and identify your order. Processing starting automatically does not, by itself, remove your statutory rights.

You may use this cancellation wording, but do not have to: “I give notice that I cancel my AUbit order. Order date: ____. Filename or payment reference: ____. My name and contact details: ____. Date: ____.” If sent on paper, you may sign it.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

8. Website rights and acceptable use

© 2026 AUbit. All rights reserved in our original website content and branding. Third-party materials and software remain subject to their owners’ rights and applicable licences. This notice does not claim ownership of customer audio or override rights granted by law or an applicable software licence.

Do not upload unlawful material or malicious files, interfere with the service, or attempt to access another customer’s audio or bypass payment or promotion-code checks.

Do not submit NAM capture or training files, test sweeps, impulse trains, test noise or other probe signals for the purpose of measuring, extracting, reproducing, cloning or approximating AUbit’s proprietary model or processing configuration.

9. Commercial copying of AUbit technology

“Protected AUbit materials” means the proprietary software code, model files and weights, confidential processing configurations and documentation in which AUbit owns, or is authorised to enforce, the relevant intellectual property or confidentiality rights.

Unless we have given you written permission, you must not copy, extract, redistribute, sell, license or otherwise commercially exploit protected AUbit materials, including by incorporating them into another product or service. You must not use the portal to obtain those materials through unauthorised access or to extract a proprietary AUbit model for commercial reuse.

This restriction does not prevent you from releasing, selling or otherwise commercially using your own processed music and recordings, subject to the rights of others in that audio. It does not give AUbit exclusive rights over general audio-processing ideas, methods or independently developed implementations.

Open-source and third-party components, including the Neural Amp Modeler engine, remain governed by their own licences. Nothing in this section removes permissions those licences grant or any right that cannot lawfully be excluded by contract, including applicable rights to observe, study, test, make necessary backup copies of, or decompile software.

10. Remedies for unauthorised copying

If you breach section 9, we may require you to stop the prohibited activity and seek appropriate legal remedies. Where the law permits and the necessary grounds are established, these may include:

These remedies are not automatic penalties. This clause does not authorise AUbit to enter premises, access devices, seize equipment or take ownership of unrelated property, original customer recordings or lawfully held third-party materials. Any handling or destruction of material must respect legal obligations to preserve evidence and the rights of other people.

11. Changes to these terms

Changes apply to future orders. They do not retrospectively reduce the rights attached to an existing order. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply where lawful.
